.  Behavioral Models

 Each of us will develop over time our own behavior management model.  In order to assist new teachers with developing their behavioral models, it is important to learn about some of the popular behavior management models used in schools.

Attached is information that  describes some of these models.  It is important to note that most teachers use a combination of these models throughout their teaching careers.

Assignment:

  • Identify three models you believe best describes your classroom management style.
    • For each of the three that you selected, write a paragraph of 3 – 5 sentences about why that model feels like a good match for you and your personality. (15 points)
  • Identify three models that you believe least describes your classroom management.
    • For each of the three that you selected, write a paragraph of 3 – 5 sentences about why that model does not feel like a good match for you and your personality. (15 points)
